At the Department of” Biomedical Engineering, Informatics and Biophysics", a training seminar was held for specialists in the field of biomedical engineering

On August 27, 2024, a training seminar for specialists of the direction of Biomedical Engineering was held at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Informatics and Biophysics of the Faculty of “Pharmacy, Management, Medical Biology, Biomedical Engineering and nurse with higher education” of the Tashkent Medical Academy. For new employees and working employees who came to the department in the program, the i2-PLEDGE of the Erasmus + CBHE 101082242 project on biomedical engineering innovative and interdisciplinary programs on the use of the digital growth program for the employment of students in Uzbekistan at the meeting on March 28, 2024, a discussion was carried out on promising plans for the integration of Erasmus + CBHE 101082242

Within the separately mentioned topics, the important thing is that the educational plan provides for two directions: 1) biomedical equipment technology and 2) The expressed opinions on improving the teaching methodology of Clinical Engineering.

Among the diversity of available profiles, the curriculum is designed with the aim of providing two specializations in this area through the design of two areas, which are based on common basic skills and capabilities, with particular emphasis on the following:

1) biomedical equipment technology: skills to install, maintain and provide technical support for biomedical tools and equipment for the diagnosis and treatment of all types of diseases using computers and other electronic devices;

2) clinical engineering: skills to ensure that medical equipment is safe and efficient, the ability to work with doctors, nurses and other health professionals to design, develop, test and implement new technologies or procedures, and to train them to use technologies developed with patients. While based on the same multidisciplinary approach in both directions, Route 1 was more introduced to the biomedical industry, with Route 2 clinical settings - oriented Analyses. The seminar was attended by 38 employees of the department, the dean of the faculty and the dean`s office. Dean S.U. Aliyev congratulated everyone on the changes of the new academic year in the direction of Biomedical Engineering in the new academic year and on the Independence Day of September 1, which is coming, each professor touched on the tasks that the teacher faced in the new academic year.

Head of the Department M.I. Bazarbayev sincerely congratulated the teachers of the professor at the Department on the new academic year and gave detailed information about all the issues seen in the Scientific Council held before the new academic year. In particular, the professors and teachers detailed the dynamics of educational downloads, the form of inter-course study and the plarform of education, and the status of the Tashkent Medical Academy recognized by the European public educational space, and provided information about all the possibilities aimed at the future development of scientific potential for student and professor teachers.

The work of the department was informed about the priorities of the poor teachers, the work planned for the new academic year with the participants of international and mahaliy projects available at the Department.
